Victory Farm Kitchen The Home of Handmade Chocolate, Manx Crumble & Peppermint Cake

Welcome to Victory Farm Kitchen, the home of delicious handmade chocolate, novelty sweets, Mona Kissack’s Manx Crumble, and Harriet’s Manx Peppermint Cake, all made with love on the Isle of Man.

Our Manx Crumble is a rich, buttery treat inspired by Scottish tablet but made with Aunt Mona Kissack’s treasured recipe. Mona was a proud Manx Land Girl who, at just 17, worked at Knockaloe Internment Camp. Alongside her family, she supplied as much of her crumble as possible to help keep morale high for the internees.

Mona’s efforts were part of the wider contribution of the civilian “Blue Staff” — about 250 people who worked as censors, clerks, storekeepers, engineers, and hospital dispensers. The camp had a profound impact on the Isle of Man, and Mona’s crumble became a small but meaningful part of that history.

Though Mona has sadly passed away, her recipes live on, passed down to her niece Harriet, who now carries on her Manx Crumble and Manx Peppermint Cake traditions.

Alongside these Manx classics, the manx landgirls create handmade chocolate and novelty sweets, crafted in small batches and available for anyone to enjoy.

You can find Victory Farm Kitchen at local events, fayres, and farmers markets, please do get in touch if you need something special for corporate events, parties, or gifts.

Whether it’s Mona Kissack’s Manx Crumble, Harriet’s Manx Peppermint Cake, handmade chocolate, or novelty sweets, Victory Farm Kitchen is the home of these sweets, made with love, history, and Isle of Man tradition.
